I am happy to report that this has not been the case at Chapel of the Hills. I want to commend you for your faith and your faithfulness. Our missionaries are facing great challenges as well. Their normal cycle has been to serve four years in the field and then return for a year to rest, receive further training and raise additional support. Bush. The fact is, people tend to vote with their pocketbooks. People are shaken. Some have had their hours and wages cut while others have lost their jobs. Last September, my wife’s company of over ten years, closed their doors. Churches have not been immune from this financial downturn. Many pastors are reporting a significant decline in financial support. Text Box: We often talk about how important the watchmen on the walls are. It is with great anticipation that Chapel of the Hills is entering into a time of prayer and fasting. My life is always busy and going up to the mountain gave God a chance to really get a hold of me and change my heart. My mom and I have begun praying and worshiping in the morning together which has brought both of us closer to the Lord.
