The Season of Lent begins on Wednesday, February 17th with what is known as Ash Wednesday. The ashes, which were a symbol of purification in Scripture, remind us that we are mortal. (see Numbers 19:9, 17; Hebrews 9:13; Jonah 3:6; Matthew 11:21, and Luke 10:13 ).

Continuing with the Rooted theme for the year, winter camp is promising to be another powerful experience.
